Where: Portman’s Music Inside the Store

7650 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA 31406

When: Saturday, October 14, 2017,   10:00 am to 3:00 pm

Friends of Ben, Inc. has partnered with Portman’s, SCCPSS and other music programs in Savannah to launch a city-wide “Keep The Music Playing”  instrument donation day for youth who want to learn to play an instrument but can’t afford to rent or buy an instrument. For decades, Portman’s Music Super Store has been the Southeast’s resource for the quality band and orchestra instruments, service, accessories, and lessons. Each year they help hundreds of parents give their children a great start in school music.

Donated instruments may be dropped off at Portman’s on Saturday, October 14, 2017.   Bring a used instrument inside the store.  Instruments will be repaired and donated to youth to join a music program and learn to play.  Look for more information on our site.  All donated instruments are tax deductible.

Monday, September 18, Lucas Theatre, (7:00 pm Ben Tucker Alumni Band) 8 PM documentary showing for the first time. This event is FREE /
